In Colorado Springs nu este o zi sa nu te bucuri de viata.Atit de frumos si o temperatura atit de placuta este aproape in fiecare zi incit ne face sa iesim din casa si sa facem exercitiu.Asa ca astazi a fost una dintre zilele in care am decis sa punem bicicletele pe masina si sa mergem intr-o calatorie.

Este normal ca atunci cind mergem cu bicicletele trebuie sa oprim si la diferite parcuri ca si Cassandra sa aiba bucurie nu doar noi ,asa ca de fiecare data cind ne stabilim o drumetie cu bicicletele trebuie sa fie si un parc in calea noastra.

5 years of marriage already!

On Friday was our fifth aniversary. Today we went out to eat after church and then went hiking. It was so pretty with the snow. We made the most of our time without having Cassandra there. She went home from church with Yai-Yai.

Colorado is so pretty when it snows in the mountains. It was so peaceful. We were the only ones on the trail. I guess no one else wanted to hike through the snow. It was either that or the superbowl. Who was playing in that again?

Here is my wonderful husband. It has been a joy to be with him and to have 5 years with him. I love him so much and I have a lot of good memories with him. I was just saying to him today that most of our time together has been spent outdoors. He said that that was the way he liked it.

More beautiful Colorado views. We went on a trail that is up above the Broadmoor Hotel. The clouds didn't look very nice. It was snowing off and on and the clouds were in the mountains while we were hiking.

We saw 4 deer coming down the hill. We were staring at them and they were staring at us.

Aww, look at the happy couple. We are still happy and in love after 5 years. That is very good in these days.

Isn't God's creation beautiful.

Going to the zoo!

Well, when we have the zoo pass, we use it. It was a little cold so not many people were there but it was fun.

Here we are outside the wolf woods and we saw a wolf this time. I think this is the firt time I have ever seen one at this zoo.

Of course, Cassandra found a leaf and had to carry it everywhere. She likes them.

We went in one building and we were able to see a parrot and a turtle. Cassandra was scared of the turtle when it was moving. It made a break for the door too, well a slow walk but... We tried to get the parrot to talk, but it wouldn't. We also saw a snunk in there, but came out and didn't smell.

We went to LOWES and we buy two sled.We gat some snow in Colorado Springs and it is nice to go outside and have some fun in the snow.Cassandra love's snow so we really had great time sledding today .She did not want to come home ,she want to go over and over again on down the hill .We are so glad that she loves outdoor stuff.We will get more snow today so it will be fun to go back tomorow again.

"I'm free (3)." That is what Cassandra says when you ask how old she is. We also had a birthday party for her this year. A couple families came over and the kids played and we had dinner. Cassandra had so much fun.

We decorated the apartment with pink and green balloons and streamers while Cassandra was sleeping the night before. She excited with the balloons in the morning when she woke up. Cassandra was asking if we needed help getting everything set up that day. She helped push the table together.

She got birthday presents too!

Mommy had to help witht he card and a little bit with the presents. Though she got the point of opening presents from Christmas, as she was opening everybody's presents.

Blowing out the candles was fun.

Yesterday Corneliu did biking. It was such sunny day. But today, it is a different story. At noon it started snowing and we just love it. Finally, we got some snow in Colorado Springs.

We got so much, that we needed to shovel it. Cassandra was so excited to go help her daddy. She said, "Cassandra hard worker." Yeah snow, I think that is what she was saying in that picture.

You cannot just shovel and not have fun in the snow.

We left at 8:30 am and we drove all the way to Camp Road and we were going to bike from Camp Road about 10 miles up to a trail call J down hill trail but we wanted to bike up and than come down but I never carried my bike so much in my life .This trail was very hard to bike up,not a joke.

The adventure began here.

This are my great friends,Mark and Frank.They both work at DCC SCHOOL.Mark is the math teacher and Frank is the tech guy.Very nice people and great bikers.They were traing to find the trail that we were supossed to be on it .What fun.

I guess we didn't do any biking,we hiked with our bikes. Basically we took our bikes for a hike.What interesting bike riding.

I personaly really liked the views.

I guess Mark liked them to. It it a beautiful place. On the way down we biked sorry,we hiked by seven bridges and the water fall was just awesome.What a nice adventure we all had.

Well, because we hiked more than we biked, and the reason of the morning was to go biking, I biked home from Seven Bridges so that I would feel that I biked.

Christmas dinner at mom and dad's house is like having a private place at Broadmoore Hotel. Everything is just so perfect. There are gorgeous table decorations, and the best food recipes in the west. We definitely have to say thank you from our hearts to mom and dad for all of their sacrifice and hard work, putting all of these things together.

It is a blessing to have family and to be able to celebrate Christmas with them. Tonight, we all went to mom and dad's house. Aunt Peg, Scott, and Bart, and Grandpa all came too. What a great time we had together, celebrating Jesus' birth. We got to talk to Johnny too online.

We love Cassandra's hair. It has grown so long. It looks like gold hair in this picture, it is so gorgeous. Cassandra was playing a little bit on the piano for us. It was very cute. She is so beautiful.

Cassandra loved her oyster crackers, but she also shared them with everybody else there. She walked to everybody and gave them some. She is great at sharing when she wants to. She taught us a lesson tonight about sharing.

Bart, my cousin, was sitting on the floor, waiting for Cassandra to walk by and give him more crackers. Cassandra really likes Bart, she has fun with him.

And then, she decided to sit down and eat some crackers herself. I guess she was tired of walking, because she usually does not sit down that much all day.

Christmas Eve

Tonight, Cassandra was so anxious to open one of her presents (this is waht happens when you talk to much about presents and Santa Claus to 3 year olds) so we let her open 2 presents.

This is her first present, which was her daddy's idea to buy it, and I will tell you why. When we were in Phoenix for Thanksgiving, one of our cousins had this remote control car, and Cassandra had so much fun running after her cousins car when he was playing with it. She thought that that was pretty interesting for a car to move by itself. So we got one for her.

That is the happiness that she had on her face when she saw her remote control car. After she opened it, all night long she said "this is my car."

Daddy tried to teach her how to use the remote control, and after a while, she kind of figured out how to make the care go back adn forth, left and right.

The second present was an animal puzzle, because she loves animals so much. I think that she will have fun putting this puzzle with mommy and daddy's help because it might be too hard for her to put together all by herself right now.

This year, we did not go anywhere for Christmas. So, because Cassandra likes Christmas lights so much, we decorated our house. We actually won 3rd place in our Christmas light contest at out apartment complex and got $25.

Doesn't it look like a gingerbread house. Cassandra is so excited to plug the lights in when it gets dark. We actually drove in quite a few neighborhoods to see the Christmas lights this year, she really likes them and wants to see "more yights."

Yeah, it is the first time in our almost 5 years of marriage that we have a Christmas tree. Yes, Noelle and Johnny, those are the pictures of me as a child. Cornel liked them. Some friends thought that that was Cassandra in the pictures. I guess she just looks like me.

There are most of Cassandra's presents. Santa has to fill the stocking.

Cassandra is either dancing with her bear, or listening to music on her DVD player, or maybe she is pretending to cook something in her kitchen in her room. She always has something to do. Cassandra is a busy girl, oh I mean a big girl. That is another thing that Cassandra says. If you say baby or little girl, she says "No, I am a big girl!"

I think we are the only people in Colorado Springs who use the zoo pass so much. Now Corneliu met Mark at Discovery Canyon and we became fast good friends. They also have a zoo pass, so today we all took a trip to the zoo. We brought some snacks and we enjoyed them at the caffeteria at the zoo. We want to thank you Mark and Shannon for being warm friends.

OOOOHHHH!!!! It can't be sweeter than this. Cassandra even cried when Nolen did not want to hold her hand anymore.

Cassandra and Nolen,her friend, were having some dance going on. They figured out that they can see themselfs on tv from the stage where they dancing. They didn't have any music but they still had fun .I guess they are very creative kids, they can dance or just run around even without music.

Today we spent great time with our friends at Focus on the family.Mark and Shannon and their two boys Nolen and Deven moved from Michagin to Colorado Springs. Here is there boy on the slide with Cassandra .

Out here they where waching a story about baby JESUS .They are so cute together. They are good friends and they really play good together.

Every kid want to get in this boat. It this cool where they can have so much fun.

We stopped by the book store and they have a great collection of kids christian books. Mark and Corneliu had some fun reading Jesus stories to Cassandra and Nolen.

We spent about 30 minutes just sitting down and reading. We are so happy that our kids love books. Cassandra had a Jesus christmas party at church and today when she heard about Baby Jesus books of course she want Tati to read her the books. So cute.

Cassandra was looking through most of the books and took one at a time and looked at pictures and she put them back. She had so much fun.

Here Cassandra and I are at our complexes Christmas party. Cassandra was scared of Santa at first, but after about 10 or 15 minutes she wanted to go up to him. It was our maintenance guy here and she likes him. He had to show her it was him under the beard. I still had to be in the picture with her though. After that, she was asking for Santa every few minutes and going up to him and saying "hi."

My good friend Mark call me in one day and he ask me if I want to run the two mile raise so I see YES.It was so much fun but so cold at 8 am in the morning .I did it in 13;12 minute .I was on the 13 place,not to good but bether than nothing.God bless.

You will be surprised how fast the weather changes in Arizona. You drive from Phoenix to Flagstaff and the tempurature changes from high to low in the 140 miles distance that you drive. Today we drove back home, and we had quite an adventure. Snow, crazy winds, as you can see this falg almost blowing away. The roads were covered with snow for quite a few miles. We thanked God for protecting us and helping us to get home safe. It was nice to get home and Cassandra was so excited to see Yia-Yia and Pa-Pa. We had such a great time in Phoenix with our family and friends. Thank you all for this.

Somebody was taking a nap while it was snowing. I think it is a great time to snuggle with your blanket with the heat on and a little music. She took a great nap of almost 2-1/2 hours. By the time she woke up, we were half way home.

Old Town Scottsdale

We also visited Old Town Scottsdale with Alina and Tudor. It is such a beautiful place. We really love all of the palm trees and all of the flowers, and the beautiful green grass. It is weird to come from Colorado Springs where the nature is so different right now (there is definitly no green grass or flowers in Colorado Springs right now.)

I just got a new hairstyle a week ago.

Visiting Phoenix atractions

First we walked by the Cardinal's stadium with an outdoor mall right by it. Cassandra was amazed at the size of the Christmas tree. Of course we wanted a picture of it, and then Cassandra said, "Can I see it, can I see it?"

Corneliu said he never saw such a big stadium in his life. He said that it looked like a bitg marshmellow in the valley of Phoenix. It was just being built when we were living in Phoenix for the Superbowl.

Which car would you choose, 2011 Corvette or 1930s car. In the corvette you might have a hard time opening the doors at first, but you will figure it out. We went to this car show, and we were pretty impressed with all these old and new models. And this technology advanced a lot since the 1930s.

Cornel's property is so big, that they built this cool campfire place, and they use it quite often. Last night, we came home from our friend's Aimen and Arwa's house, and we made a big fire and hung out at the fire for a few hours. Cornel drove to Walmart real quick and bought some corn to throw on the fire. That is kind of a Romanian thing to do.

This is Aimen, Arwa, and little Sara. It was good to see them again. Aimen lived next door to us when we lived here in Phoenix and we got to see this family get started. Sarah is 14 months old and loved to play with Cassandra. We got together with them yesterday and had dinner over at their house.

Here are the 2 girls together. There were some problems with sharing, but for the most part, the got along. Cassandra is loving all of the kids that she is getting to play with here. It it always fun seeing her react to younger kids. Cassandra is doing really good.

So we are staying with Cornel family and this is the house that Cornel built by himself. It is such beautiful house and has so much space.The land scaping is so great,all of the flowers are so nice.It is great place to live.

A hike before Thanksgiving Dinner

We spent so much time being in Uncle Cornel's house, we got tired of eating, so we got up this morning and after breakfast some of us took an hour hike on the Phoenix "mountains."

This is the Phoenix landscape. It is so cool to see all of these big cactus again. Cornel's mom tried to grow them, but they are 2 inches tall. Do you miss it Noelle?

Someone was very exhausted at the top. I think she said this was her first hike in her life, you can see it. She likes running on flat ground better than hiking.

We are in Phoenix at Thanksgiving. This is the time to be around family and friends. We are staying with Uncle Cornel and Aunt Monica and spent time with Alina, Cornel's cousin, today.

When we lived here, we spent a lot of time with Alina. Here we are being girls.

We told Cassandra that we were going far, far away when we left yesterday. She said that we were going far, far away a lot on our car trip. We are in Phoenix now and having a good time. Cornel's aunt and uncle have a little girl around Cassandra's age, Grace, and Cassandra and Grace are good friends now. We took them both to the park and McDonald's today.

They love playing together and having fun. Sliding and swinging at the park, playing with dolls and other toys at the house, and running around with each other. They both follow each other around and it is cute. Here Grace is climbing a rock wall at the park.

Corneliu set up a picnic/barbaque with a math teacher and family today at, you guessed, Fox Run Park. It was such a nice day and we wanted to get outside, no surprise there.

They have two little boys, here is there oldest Nolen with Cassandra on the teeter totter. I am talking with his wife, Shannon in the background. Cassandra and Nolen quickly became friends a few nights ago and like to play with each other. Nolen is about 2-1/2. I am also sporting my new haircut here. Do you like it?

Here is Mark with their other son Deven. He is 10 months. We had a great time just spending time together. We made some hamburgers and hotdogs.

Deven gets around, fast. He is starting to take steps and crawls like a pro.

We only had 1 accident with Cassandra at the park and she went on the potty once too. She is getting it. I am so proud of this little one. Cassandra is also quick to tell you that she is a big girl. If you say she is a baby, she corrects you. She is eating so good now. She also had a great time at the park. That is the only place she wants to go now.

It is never too cold to go for a hike.

We bought a great Russian winter hat for Cassandra. She loves it. She always tells us that she is very warm in her hat. Today we just took a short hike on the hill behind us.

Big day for Grandpa (Craft show)!!!

Today Grandpa had a great craft show, so we went to see what grandpa was showing. I was very excited to see him show off the monkey cage he made for me when I was 5 or 6. There were so many cool things that people made. We wish we would have had money to buy those warm blankets, but they were pretty expensive. Corneliu asked grandpa if anybody asked about buying things. Grandpa said "Oh, I do not think there are prices for these, they are too valuable."

Here we are with my monkey cage. Cassandra really likes the monkey, and wanted to play with it. She was pointing at it and saying "It is a monkey."

Grandpa said that he never got so much attention, so Corneliu asked if he felt a little bit like a Hollywood star, and he said "Oh yeah." He was so cute, to see how proud he was when people were walking by. Grandpa was explaining what he made. We are so proud of him.

Then we had lunch with Grandpa, nummy food.

It is always a good time being with Grandpa.

We were walking by this table where there were all kinds of braclets, necklaces, and earings for sale. Cassandra liked to put every single bracelet on her hand. She was so cute and happy to do that. She actually asked Dad to "buy it for me." She already wants to wear jewelry. I think she has some genes from Yia-Yia.

Potty training, what a fun experience!!!!!

We have been having a tough time this week. Cassandra is learning how to go on the potty. There has been a lot of cryign and also a lot of smiles and clapping. Cassandra gets an M&M when she goes on the potty and also when she holds it until she gets there. For the most part, I think it is going okay. She is learning.

Sometimes watching movies is not fun. Yes she is crying. We will get it eventually.

Cassandra got a new bed over the weekend. She picked out Dora sheets by herself and enjoys being a big girl. She loves her bed. This was my bed when I was growning up. No more crib. She has really done good in it and does not get out when we put her in it. I was amazed at that.

Today, after church and having lunch with Yia-Yia and PaPa, we went for a bike ride. It was beautiful fall weather. We biked downtown again to America the Beautiful park. We had some fun at the park and took some pictures. We were going against the wind on the way back, but it was not too bad. Cassandra loves it when we go biking. And she also LOVES PARKS!!!!!!! It is what she always wants to do. Cassandra loves running in the leaves now. And also, her favorite word is "hi" which she says to everybody.

Veteren's Day parade!

We went to a parade this weekend for Veteren's day. Mom said that Grandpa would be in the parade, but we got there 15 minutes late and I think we missed seeing him. Maybe he was in one of these 2 cars. Who knows. Corneliu says that all of the old folks look the same. Mom said that they were in a big army truck and we did not see it, because we think that they put WW2 vets at the beginning of the parade. We had a great time anyways. It was fun for Cassandra to see all of the marching bands and she really likes to say right or left when the soldiers marched by.

We went to visit with a friend of mine today. She and her husband live in China and teach English over there. They came home for a few months and we were able to get together with them today. They have a little girl, Lydia, who is a month younger than Cassandra. They had a lot of fun together. This si Lydia's grandma and the girls.

This is Lydia's room and Cassandra liked her big girl bed.

Lydia's mom, Sunny and I went to school together from 5th grade through high school. We have stayed in touch and get together when they come back from China. It is fun to see how Lydia has grown too.

Here are the two of them playing in Lydia's playhouse. After a while they were sharing good. Cassandra likes being around kids her age.

Halloween Party at the Zoo!

It was out pleasure as a mom and dad to spend this precious time with our daughter at the zoo tonight, for Halloween. This was Cassandra's first time trick or treating. We had so much fun seeing her be so excited about some of the costumes and about the big gorilla, and of course, Elmo.

We love this little princess.

So we got to the zoo and Cassandra was a little happy, but in the same time freeked out by all of the costumes. Some of them were scary and some of them were cute. Yia-Yia was giving Cassandra an explination of what we would do at the zoo, as you can see. (SOOO CUTE)

They were watching kids going by, and Cassandra was asking, "what is that, what is that?" That is her favorite question.

Guess what, Papa came with us to the zoo. As you can see on his face, he is not to happy being at the zoo. That is not his favorite place to be (but he had a great time, this is what he told us afterwards). Cassandra was probably thinking, lets go papa, it is time to get candy in this bucket.

There you go, we are on the way to have some fun.

I got my bucket, I am holding Yia-Yia's hand, I feel great, I am very confident that this will be a good time.

I am sure she was looking at a scary costume. For a few times she wanted us to hold her because she was pretty scared of the costumes. Some people did not think about little kids, when they picked out their weird adn strange costumes. They looked ready for a haunted house instead of being around kids.

Cassandra wanted to a carve pumkin this year. We went over to Yai-Yai and Papas house last night and made Cassandra's first Jackolatern. She had a lot of fun. We put Yai-Yai's shirt on, and got ready. She helped Papa pick out the face, he drew a couple of them. Cassandra didn't want to pull out the seeds, put enjoyed watching us do that.

Cassandra enjoyed the finished product. She even wanted to take it home.

Our favorite park is Fox Run Park. After our 6 mile hike on Falcon Trail, we were starving. We went to Safeway to buy some hamburgers and hotdogs and drove to the park to have some good stuff. We collected some wood and pine needles and we made a fire, because it was pretty cold.

And then, after we warmed up our hands, and smelled like campfire, we threw the hamburgers and hotdogs on the fire. Trust me, it was great food, everything is better when you are hungry.

If you love God's creation, you need to prove it!

We know, we know, living in Colorado, having beautiful weather all year round, it is just impossible not to get outside. We think so. Today, Corneliu and I were talking about not spending money and going away from Colorado to be on vacation; we are so thankful to have these beautiful mountains here, and great friends who have the same passion like we do for hiking and enjoying outside. These are our vacations and we have them pretty often. It doesn't cost much at all, just gas to get to these places.

I think Cassandra will be a geologist. Once we let her out of the backpack, she runs straight to rocks, weeds, sticks, and has to pick them up and show them to us. She also loves walking. I think she walked about a mile today. We hope that she will love nature when she grows up.

Frank and his girlfriend Judy enjoyed today with us. Cornel knows Frank from Discovery Caynon, he is the IT guy. These are great people to hang out with.

Of course, our great friend Karri spent all day long with us. She always wants to carry Cassandra because she wants to build more muscle. And trust me, you are carrying about 35 pounds on your back, it is a great way to stay in shape. Karri is such a great and lovely person. We enjoy the time that we spend with her.

Barn Dance

We were invited to a barn dance tonight. We left Cassandra with our friend Stephanie and went out to the country. We had a lot of fun. Just imagine Cornel doing a good old fashioned square dance, it was pretty funny. A lot of people thought it was funny looking at our group. We had fun though. We did better at the line dancing. There were some girls from Germany who were as confused as Cornel was.

This is at Garden of the Gods. We decided to go for a walk before dinner, and we really enjoyed it.

This is our goofball, who wants to go from rock to rock and sit down on them. When you go for a walk with a 2 year old, you don't get to far, but at least you can laugh and smile with her. We all enjoyed the fall colors together.

We are so happy to have a girl who is full of energy and life, and her smile on her face makes us so happy and makes us smile to. We thank you God for our princess, our gift from you.

Cassandra saw these guys climbing the rocks at Garden of the Gods. Of course, that is what she wanted to do after that. Those rocks were a little to slippery for her, she feel a couple times but didn't cry. She said "oops." This is definitly an adventurous girl, whatever she sees someone else doing, she wants to do too.

A Great Saturday in the Mountains!

A few days ago, we planned ou going either biking or hiking with our great friend Karri. This morning we decided to go hiking at Mueller State Park in the heart of the mountains. We saw a few beautiful trees with their leaves changing.

This is the visiters center, and Cassandra enjoyed seeing all the animals inside, and the books.

Here is the decision, which trail should we go on?

The decision was made, as you can see.

Karri wanted to carry Cassandra for a while.

Here we are, we took off and...

We found a little snake crossing the trail, so Cornel wanted to show Cassandra the snake, and it took a while for him to catch it, it was a fast little snake.

Our adventures will never end, even when it is cold out. That is why we had the hats on. It was pretty cold this morning in the mountains.

But sunny.

Rest time, and we also had a little picnic.

We brought cheese, sausage, cucumber, and muffins for Cassandra, but she only wanted her goldfish, what can you do. Kids are kids.

What a precious girl we have.

Even when Cassandra was walking, she had to hold her goldfish. Just in case she got hungry later, she wanted to be prepared.

We walked by some dry grass and Cassandra had a fall. She was not to happy, because that grass is not the softest grass in Colorado.

She got up as a strong hiker, and kept walking with a smile on her face.

But of course, she saw leaves and she had to sit down and collect a few leaves. She enjoys collecting leaves and sticks.

Isn't she beautiful. We thank God every day for our precious, adventurous girl, who enjoys being outdoors like us.

Karri and Ben's Farm

We went out and spent some time with Karri and Ben today. They live out in the country and have a farm. They have chickens, ducks, goats, and a dog. It was fun for Cassandra to see all of the animals. First thing though is we had some fun on their four-wheeler. Cassandra even liked it. Cornel had a blast on it, and I enjoyed it too.

This is Karri. She is the farmer in this family and she took us aroundf to see her animals as well.

Here we are waiting for the meat to cook.

Cassandra was not sure about the animals. A chicken pecked her and she then did not want to get down from our arms. I don't think it hurt her, but it probably just scared her. She had a lot of fun though.

Here is Ben. He is getting Cassandra used to Canyon again.

Do you think that I could live out in the country? We all know that Cornel can, but me with chickens.

Cassandra liked how soft the feathers were. She would only touch one though if somebody was holding it.

And here we are feeding the goats. There is a first time for everything.

La Zoo au un magazin doar cu lucruri despre Zoo si normal ca au si palari.Cassandra cum a vazut-o palaria si-a pus-o in capusor si doar uitate la expresia fete-i iei'O VREAU TATI'.Tati are o inima buna si normal ca i-am cumparato.Atit de scumpa este fetita noastra.

Normal ca se mai uita in jur ca sa mai cumpere si altceva dar probabil data viitoare pentru-ca avem reducere 10 la suta avind abonament cu Zoo.

Ne-am oprit la un mic PIC NIC ca sa ne tragem rasuflarea si sa mincam putin ca sa prindem mai multa putere.

Rupea Christian Kindergarten Project

As we all know the future is in our hands to shape the younger generations. My husband, Corneliu, was born in a small town in the heart of Romania, called Rupea (in the Transilvania region). This small town is so beautiful, but people are so far away from God, but there are 2 ladies who love God and children and they want to do something for them.

This is Damaris Crihalmean. She was born and raised in Rupea. She grew up in a small Pentecostal Church where she works as a Sunday School teacher. She is also involved in different activities with other kids in different villages. She organizes Christian camps for kids, but her heart is to have a Christian kindergarten, where kids can learn more than normal skills, they can learn about Jesus Christ.

Ica and Damaris feel like Jesus called them to start a place where they can share THE GIFT OF LIFE with children who do not have any spiritual examples in their families. Their hearts are to reach the lives of children.

This is Viorica Muresan (Ica), born and raised in Rupea. She grew up in a Pentecostal church as well. Her vision is also to have a Christian kindergarten where she can express her love and passion for new generations of children. Ica is also the worship leader at the Pentecostal church. She is involved with the children's ministry in surrounding areas. She is teaching guitar and piano lessons to children, building relationships with them.

This is a group of children from Rupea, who attended Damaris's and Ica's Christian camp this summer. A lot of them are now coming to church because they heard and they felt loved by Jesus, and also by people who showed them love and care.

This is the Pentecostal church property. This property was bought by the church. It used to be some government building a long time ago. They have place to start a kindergarten, but because the building is so old, they have so many things to replace, and what they need is for people to be part of this vision. They ask for any financial support that people can give, so they can fulfill God's children's project.

The Kindergarten will be on the second floor. They also working on building a kitchen and bathrooms. From what we heard from them, they are almost finished with walls, floors, and ceilings in the rooms, bathrooms, and kitchen. Now what they need is central heating, furniture, toys, and carpet.

They also need play equipment. Now what they have is just the space for it.

So, what they would like you to do, is to ask God if He wants you to be part of his Kindergarten project in Rupea. Trip in north of Denver.

We have been looking for a baby carrier backpack since we came back from Romania because the one that we had was destroyed in Denver airport. We found this REI backpack on craigslist, but this guy lived all the way up in Black Hawk, which is northwest of Denver on 1-70.

Of course we profitted of our trip to this guy's house, and we stopped at this beautiful state park in Denver. We tested out the backpack's endurance. We enjoyed the starting of fall, the leaves are changing and are very pretty.

This is our new hiking backpack for the fall. Cassandra loves it. She started jumping and smilling when we put her in it.

We wished to have a boat. It was a great lake for boating.

On the way back from picking up the backpack, we saw a dirt bike race by the highway 470, so we stopped to watch for a little bit. We have never seen so many people getting together in Colorado, it was quite a crowd. Those bikers knew how to jump really high.

We want to thank Mom and Dad for bringing us on this trail last year. On this trail you don's see just God's gorgeous nature, you also see people's creativity. You will know what I am talking about by these pictures.

For about a mile or more, people painted these murals on this big wall that goes along the river. Cassandra had so much fun seeing all of the animals and trees that were on the wall. She was very excited.

Pretty cool, huh.

Cassandra liked the duck. She was really excited about the duck. I think it is fun to walk on the trail with kids, they see all the animals here. You can do two things in the same time, execise, and teach your kids about what is painted on the walls.

You also have God's beautiful creativity in nature.

After all of the things that we saw and after all of the biking, we stopped at this cool cafe, right by the river.

Pueblo trip.Fun by the lake....

Cassandra loves water like her daddy does. Every single time when we bike by a river or lake or water fountain, we need to stop and get wet. So this is what we did today. It was a very beautiful warm day in Pueblo.

Cassandra did not want to hold daddy's hand anymore. She wanted to go in the water by herself and swim. I love her adventuresome spirit.

We were throwing leaves and sticks into the water. Cassandra was collecting all of the leaves and sharing with mommy and daddy. We could have stayed there for a while, because she did not want to go anywhere else. But then when daddy mentioned getting into the water...you have seen the pictures.

Please give me some clothes, I am freezing and my diaper and shorts are full and cold. Help!

Uh oh, my pants are falling down, I need to hold them.

This is the best time of my day, playing in the water. Does it look like fun or what?

What a beautiful place. Great views and the birds were singing and we saw a few fish swimming around. I love it.

We were also by a really beautiful river that goes through Peublo, with a trail right by it.

We were thinking that the next time we go, we should bring our tubes and have some fun floating down the river. We saw a few people using Kaiacs and fishing in the river.

Cornel took Cassandra for a bike ride and to the park in downtown at America The Beautiful Park. It was such a beautiful day to have a father daughter day.

Here I want to show you how many things you can do at a cool park. This park is made by very creative architects, because there are so many things to do.

Trying to get dizzy, but she never did that before, so she actually really lkiked it. This is waht my husband says, but I am not sure. I was not there.

And of course, sliding on the "hot" slides. She always says that slides are too hot, so it is surprising that she went down the slide.

Cassandra found a new way to go down the soft ground at the playground. it was an incline, and she liked to slide down in like a slide. It did not work too well. I told her that I would go back when it snowed, so that it would be easier to slide down.

Outdoor Fun!

We went to Fox Run and walked around the lake. It was a beautiful day and we went to a beautiful place to walk and play.

We went to the park and Cassandra liked to people watch from the slide, before she actually started playing. She wants to see what is going on around the park, to see if it is safe for her to play. She is so funny when she does this. Corneliu told me that she is like a grandma in little villages, who sits on the porch watching people walk by.

Mmmmm, good cookie, great swinging, I'm happy.

What should I do by the lake, because I want to have some fun, not just watching fish swim by.

I started feeding the fish. Some other kids gave me some bread, and trust me, it was a lot of fun to see all the fish swimming to get the bread. There were some pretty big fish Papa.

There was a hungry dog too, he ate one of my bread slices.

Here are the fish Papa, when are we going fishing again? Now they are pretty big, eating all that bread.

Astazi conducind spre casa de la biserica am inceput sa cant,ISUS IUBESTE PE FIECARE si Cassandra auzindu-ma a inceput sa cite si ea si dupa aceea si Natalie,deja incepusem sa ma simt ca la o Biserica Penticostala care are un cor hotarit in fata biserici.Normal ca atunci cind am vrut sa fac un video cu Cassandra cintind acela-si cantec nu a mai vrut sa isi deschida gurita ca sa o pot auzi ce canta asa ca m-am multumit doar cu citeva cuvinte .Draga imi mai este fetita mea.

Ultima cina inainte ca familia Platte sa se mute in VIRGINA

Aseara a fost ultima cina impreuna cu familia Platte.Astazi au plecat in Virginea,sau mutat acolo pentru un timp din cauza slujbelor.A fost foarte trist moment cind a trebuit sa ne luam la revedere de la iei pentru-ca am avut un timp atit de minunat in aceste cinci luni de zile cit au stat iei aici.Fetitele lor si a noastra sau jucat impreuna atit de fain,nu stiu ce vom face cu ,,,Cassandra pentru-ca in fiecare dimineata ne pistoneaza la cap despre Ady,tot timpu vrea sa o vada pe verisoara iei.Acuma trebuie sa ii explicam ca verisoara iei a mers buy,buy.

Bunicu ii ficxeasa spatele lui Ady pentru ca sa nu aiba probleme pentru un timp,atita de scumpa este sa vezi cum intreaba pe bunicu ca sa ii faca masaj la spate.

Bunica Bonnie a vrut sa mai faca inca citeva poze doar cu fetitele pentru-ca vrea sa puna in rama citeva in casa la ea dar din pacate au iesit cu ochii rosi dar vom rezolva problema aia cind mergem sa le developam,in rest pot sa spun ca sunt atit de dragute aceste trei verisoare.

Astazi m-am trezit cam de dimineata si am decis sa merg 40 de mile cu bicicleta,nu stiu exact citi km sunt dar am cam pregizat ca sunt cam 25-27km.Tot timpu cind merg cu bicicleta ma minunez de creatia DOMNULUI ISUS pentru-ca atunci cind a creat Colorado a fost atit de creativ.Este o onoare sa locuiesc in Colorado Springs si sa pot sa ma bucur de toata natura care ma inconjoara.

We are trying to spend as much time as we can with Noelle and the girls before they leave. Cassandra and Addysen will miss each other so much, so we are giving them time together before they leave. We are sad to see Jeff and Noelle go, but Jeff needed to move where he found a job. So, that said, we went to the park again.

Haven came too. She wanted to be included in the fun.

Snack time, the 2 girls ate goldfish, and cheese crackers.

Two sisters hanging out. We are talking as Addysen and Cassandra are running around in the "forest." This is something that Addysen will be doing out in Virginia, and she loves it.

Okay, they have a rock climbing wall for kids and the girls wanted to try. They were getting it pretty well. It is fun seeing them grow up and be able to do more things. Addysen did it first and then Cassandra treid to figure it out. By the end of the time, Cassandra was almost getting it without help.

With their mom's help, the girls did most of the things at the park.

Slides are always a favorite.

My husband woke up and did not want any hair. He shaved it off. Cassandra and Addysen are not that concerned anymore about this. Cassandra even said a few times "no more hair." Cornel said that he got his winter hair cut.

Climbing walls are fun.

Astazi am mers din nou la Zoo pentru-ca am avut de vizitat o alta parte a gradine-i zoologice unde nu am fost data trecuta asa ca ne-am pus pe treaba si foarte bine ne-am mai simtit.Fetitele noastre sau distrat de minune.

M-am distrat tare mult de Cassandra pentru-ca am cumparat mincare pentru girafa si Cassandra sa cam speriat putin cind girafa a scos limba iei de 15cm ca sa poata sa ajunga la biscuite.

Pool time

Astazi a fost cam cald in Colorado Springs asa ca am mers la piscina si am invitat si pe sora lui Natalie cu fetitele iei,Iei au venit cam tirziu asa ca nu am facut poze si cu iei doar un video cu frumoasele ferisoare .

Cassandra mai mergea un pic in piscina dupa care mergea din nou la flori si mai rupea o flore si venea la mine sa imi arete cit de entuziasmata era de florea iei ,probabil daca o mai lasam sa rupa flori in continuare trebuia sa cumpar alte flori pentru decoratiunea la piscina.Atit de scumpa a fost tindind floricele in minutele iei micute .Cassandra o mostenit acest dar de a iubi florile de la bunica de la rupea.

Dupa ce sa inchiat activitatea de a se juca cu floricele sa apucat sa arunce pietre dintr-o parte in alta a piscinei.De fapt am facut si un mic video despre activitatile verisoarelor referitor la pietre.

Cassandra o gasit niste ochelari de inot si normal ca a trebuit sa vada cum fuctioneaza,am incercat sa ii pun la ochii dar nu ma lasat ca a zis 'SUNT AI MEI'.

Lui Cassandra ii place atit de mult sa o arunc in aer si sa o prin atunic cind este aproape sa intri sub apa.Ma bucur sa o aud zimbind si rizind in hohote.O fumusete de copilas ne-a dat ISUS cu atita de mult energie si o fumusete de ne inchipuit.Atit de mult ii iubesc spiritu si inimioara iei plina de bucurie.

Normal ca mosteneste de la Tati o multime din caracteru iei ,mai ales acela al aventuri ,tot timpu cauta sa faca ceva ce nu a facut cu o zi inainte ,iubesc spiritu de genu asta.

Normal ca are si din caracteru lui Mami,ii place sa se relaxeze ,sa stea la marginea piscinei si sa se bucure de soare si de oameni care trec pe linga piscina.

La multi ani Addy

Mi mai mare dragu sa o ascult pe Cassandra cindtind la Multi Ani verisoare-o iei.Atit de scumpa este si sincerc cred ca am vizionat video de vre-o 14 ori in dimineata aceasta .Cum se termina imi spunea sa il pun din nou....Bucurati-va impreuna cu Cassandra si cintati impreuna cu ea La multi ani Addy asa o striga Cassandra pe Addy.
