Playing in the snow!

Well, mom got a snow outfit for Cassandra couple months ago, and we used it today. There are a couple inches of snow on the ground, so Cassandra played in the snow today. She wasn't quite sure when we were putting the snow pants on and boots, but she didn't cry. There was actually smiles when she got up.

The boots are a new experience, but she is willing to try them.

Well the last time we blogged, it wasn't all snowy out right. Well, our camera broke and we didn't have access to one. Well, dad figured out that it could be fixed, something that we were informed of wrong, so he sent our camera back in, and they fixed it. We are so happy to have it back again, so that we will be able to take pictures in Romania. Here are just a few before we leave.

Okay, she didn't like the coldness, but that will come. Maybe she just fell down here though, she does that a lot still.

We are back

We have a couple more toys for Cassandra. She loves her big bear and her tricycle. She loves to jump on her bear and give it hugs and kisses. She has even fed it a few times with her toy fruits and vegetables. She is very attached. And then her tricycle. She loves it when we push her around the house in it. She wants us to pile all of her stuffed animals onto it with her. It is very cute. Next summer we will go outside in it, but right now it is too cold, and her feet do not reach the pedals all the way.

There is that beautiful smile.

Daddy's love. I love seeing the two of them. They are so sweet together.

I love this last picture, she looks like she is concentrating so hard, trying to get the bike to go. She does not understand how to push it with her feet. She has grown up so much and she understands a lot of things now.

Blodgett Park

Tonight we went hiking at Blodgett Park. We had a good time. The city lights were a sight to see from up there. Cassandra had fun on Daddy's back.

Romanian Festival

This is a picture of Cassandra sleeping, in the car, after a full day of fun. We went to the Romanian Festival in Boulder today. It was a good change from the Springs, and a cultural experience. We went expecting more, but had a good time.

Here we are watching some "Popular music" Dancers. This was fun to watch. It reminded me of when Cornel and I were watching the Dancers on Christmas from my balcony in Romania. There is a video clip of it at the end, please enjoy. This is similar to dances from Russia or Ukraine. Cassandra liked seeing it.



There were two tents set up, one for food, and the other for dancing. Here we are outside of the tents.

There were a lot of street musicians there because of it being at the Pearl Street Mall, an outdoor mall. One lady came and played a song "The Cat Came Back" for Cassandra, Anca, and Marc. They all enjoyed it. At one point, Anca and Marc's dad came by and they told him that the lady was singing a song for them. So, we took the opportunity to snap some pictures.





There were lots of flowers so the girls had photos by them.



I hope that you like this music. I would call it Romanian folk music. We had a perfect day in Boulder. There was also a Renaissance Festival a couple streets down from this. That was fun to see as well. We don't have pictures of it though. We liked the energy in Boulder today. We also saw a street magician do his show, we only got there for the last half of it.
