Family around the house.

This is Ella, Flo's wife. She is 3 months pregnant and a lot of fun to be around. I have enjoyed getting to know her. She knows a little bit of English.

Patrica is staying here for a while. I asked Lucus if he misses his mom and brother and sister, he says he does, it is hard on him. When we saw each other the first time, he was crying just like Ticu. I can see that he has love for his brother and me, and Cassandra.

Lucus has been great with Cassandra and loves her. I asked him if he loves his cousin and he said who couldn't love her. I think that this is a very good picture of him. He loves cars.

This is Cassandra's highchair. She likes it.

Brothers. Time and distnace cannot separte them. They still have a great relationship. Patrica is the oldest of 5 and Cornel comes in at #4.

This looks good, doesn't it Adi. This is a Romanian doughnut. All the kids love them. They are missing the hole that American's put in their doughnuts. They are called Gagos.

This is Cornel and Ica. They have the exact same personality and humor. It is fun to hear them banter back and forth.

Just hanging out in the kitchen. I love Ticu's heart and love for people. He has a lot of patience and a lot of smiles to go around, yes, even for this guy.

Visiting with family

Cornel's Uncle Avram and Aunt Marie coming for a visit. Cassandra adores Marie and the other way around. Avram is Cornel's Mom's brother.

This is Cornel's oldest brother Patrica. He came for a walk with us today.

His parent's puppy and cat. Ticu brought home this puppy for Cassandra. She loves going after the cat and dog. I think that she will want one when we get back home. This is Lucus, Patrica's son.

We were just feeding the cat and dog when Cornel took these pictures. The cat is patient so far, but Cassandra is pulling the ears on cats. At least the cat stays outside.

Lucus and Cassandra, cousins. She likes playing with his cars. He is pretty good with her. I think he is around 5. Cassandra has met so many people within the last couple days. She did sleep through the night last night, but it got started late. She slept from 12 to 7. She didn't want to go to bed last night when there was a party. She is getting a cold, but we are trying to find a humidifier for her. She is still smiling though.

nights in Romania for us

This video speaks for itself. We need to do something, and today we are going to try getting her accustumed to this time, by waking her up in the morning and putting her down for a nap. Hopefully it will work. I hope that everybody is getting a good nights sleep there!

Romania!

Here we are! Cornel is happy to be with his family. It was a long flight, but at the end we got to be home. It is a lot of fun to talk with everyone.

Here I am with Bunicu (grandpa). I love my grandparents in Romania.

They do not have highchairs in Romania, but we found one and bunicu fixed it up.

We went for a walk on promanada, a path in the back of the house. Cassandra liked it. Romania still does not have any snow yet.

We saw cows along the path. Cassandra liked seeing them, it was a new animal for her to see. I was suprised that they were there.

"Wow!" I also heard Cassandra say a new word: cow.

Look at all the toys that I have here. I am keeping busy. Even last night at 2 in the morning I woke up to play with them. Mama and Dada did not like that to much.

Cassandra is such a big girl, going to another country to meet her bunica and bunicu (grandma and gramdpa) has turned out well. She has said yai-yai and papa though.

A beautiful day

While Cassandra was at Yai-Yai's house we had some fun out side. This is at the bottom of Pikes Peak. It was a great day for hiking, I think in the 50's. This was a fun way to spend my birthday.

We asked someone to take our picture. This is Colorado for ya. The mountains are in our back yard, and we like hiking. Cassandra missed this one, but usually she is on Daddy's back having fun with us.

This is such a cute couple. We went down and found the stream. You can here it from the trail. This part of Pikes Peak doesn't get the sun, so it had a lot of snow. We had never been down here. The water was cold, but it was still flowing.

Here is the mountain man for you. We decided to take the trail instead of go up the incline, it was my birthday, and I didn't feel like it. We hope you enjoy the mountain pictures.

First we had to get ready. Here is Cassandra having fun in her bath, Dad had fun with her hair.

Then we went to the mall. She had fun on the rides. And mommy got some boots. And then....

The favorite part of the mall for her is the pet store. Only today she was all about the balls on the ceiling for decoration and the dog toys. We saw the dogs, kitties, fish, bunnies, and birds though. She didn't want to leave. When we got her out of the store, she went back in.

All in all, it was a fun day. We always have to go home at noon for lunch and nap though.
