Don't be scared Jeff

Hey guys, we were walking today with Mom and Dad and I was waiting for Natalie. All I saw coming up the path was this ferocious mountain lion. But don't worry Jeff, I am still alive and conscious to write about it. Jeff, I hope that you will not call Mom and have her send your clothes to Phoenix. Colorado is a really safe place.

names

Well, it is time to start thinking about names.

That can only mean one thing, right?

Well to those who don't know ...

Cornel, mom, and I got to see our little girl on a computer monitor today. I was a little nervous but really excited. The nurse who did the ultrasound said that she was developing good, her heart beat was normal and that she will come around Christmas time. I was so releaved to hear that everything was progressing along. (I had a feeling that it was going to be a girl, mom did too.)

So now names...for a little girl...who will be a great Christmas present!

More recent events

Boy, we have some pictures to share with you. We have been on trails and in forests in Colorado Springs. Cornel has gone bike riding with my dad and other things which include: racquet ball, going up the Manitou incline (a long steep set of stairs that go up a side of a mountain) and tennis. Sometimes Cornel comes back exhausted and sometimes it's my dad who does. Either way they have a lot of fun together. It is "guy time" and so I am not invited. Well usually it is early in the morning so I don't mind too much. When dad and Cornel went through Garden of the Gods the other day they say some Big Horn Sheep. That was the first time that Cornel had seen those. Well thats all for now but stay tuned.

Atlanta

Well for our family and friends, guess what? We are still alive and have been busy. We are going to try to get into blogging again.

Here are some pictures of when we went to visit Corneliu's older sister in Atlanta. He hadn't seen her for 8 years, since she moved to the United States. I was able to meet Adi (Cornel's sister), her daughter Debbie, and her husband Dan. This was really special and the time went fast. We went over Memorial Day weekend which was his sister's birthday. Now I have met all of Cornel's siblings and like them all. It was much different meeting her face to face and not just talking over the phone. We went to the Georgia Aquarium, CNN building and just hung out getting to know each other. We tried to get them to move out to Colorado with us and didn't get anywhere with that request.

a snowy day in Colorado

Well this morning I woke up really early to the sound of rain. Then when we got up, it was sleeting, both raining and snowing, and has been nasty like that all day. Yes, Noelle, it is probably more pleasant down in Phoenix right now. Because of all of this Corneliu got stuck in Denver and is trying to find a hotel now to sleep in. They got about a foot (12 inches) of snow in Denver. Well, on to more pleasant news, on Sunday Corneliu went with my dad and another chiropractor on a fishing excursion. Corneliu had a lot of fun and caught 7 fish and another 3 got away. This was his first time fly fishing. They also saw were a man lived in a cave. Enjoy the pictures. Until next time have a great week.

Our Dream

Well, Corneliu and I are back in Colorado. After moving from place to place we are finally settled by the mountains in Colorado Springs. This is our kind of place to set in roots. Well we are near family and are working on making friends. Above is our apartment building, we are on the ground floor and are making it look like home. Stay tuned for more apartment pictures. We put together some flower arrangements and put them up on our balcony and in our room. Well, our entertainment has included bike riding and playing games and walking in the forest. We have had a good first couple weeks in Colorado. We have gone to church with Mom and Dad and have met people there. Corneliu is enjoying his job and thinking of buying into the business in a couple years after he has experience. He is replacing air fresheners in buildings in Denver, an hour north of Colorado Springs. And I am trying to find a job, and have just signed up for a CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) for a month this summer.
