Happy Memorial Day!

This Memorial day we went to see our friends who were camping at Wye Campgrouds, but did not find them. The views going up were spectacular and even though we did not accomplish our goal, we were glad we went. It was very bumpy and curvy on the way, and we probably won't go again here, but we had fun. Cassandra fell asleep about half-way up the mountain and had a nap. This is Colorado for you.

Then we stopped at the Broadmoor and walked around the lake. We got some good pictures and a very much needed the walk after 2 hours of driving in the mountains. We saw some geese and swans as well. To bad we can't feed them here.

Cassandra actually took good pictures today and posed a little. She loved the grass, walked and played on it.

We got some family shots too.

I have never seen a black swan. It was an amazing sight.

The playground was too hot to go on, but it looked cool.

We had a great time at mom and dad's afterwards for my grandma's 89th birthday.

Girl's having fun

Jeff and Noelle invited mom and dad and us over for dinner tonight. Addysen and Cassandra had so much fun playing and laughing together, as you can see. Enjoy.

Biking downtown.

After Cassandra's naptime, we went for a bike ride today. We rode our favorite trail downtown and back. It was very nice besides the wind. On the way back we were going against the wind, uphill. That took a lot out of us. Cassandra even fell asleep in her bike seat on the way back, she didn't take a nap today. Summer is here in Colorado Springs finally. We get to go to parks and bike rides and all kinds of things outdoors.

We went to America the Beautiful Park and then out to eat at Old Chicago. This is where we took the pictues last year and Cassandra did not have any hair. It is so good to have it grown out again.

I love this picture; this is the face that I get to see everyday. Aren't you jelous, I know that Yia-Yia is.
