Camp What A Nut

Well it was a fun morning at Focus on the Family. We went out to spend time with friends, and never saw them. Cassandra was playing in the Camp What a Nut room. This room is really cool and designed for kids. it has soft and fall absorbant floors and the play equipment is softer plastic. not to mention the whole room is a camp ground around a stream. Focus also has Whits End and a stage and puppets and a slides for older kids to play with. We mainly stay in the 0-5 years room. Cassandra started getting more comfortable today with the room and toys. It was fun. She was crawling around and smiling and laughing. She is getting better, but still has a little cold.
Well until next time...

smiles

After a long day of being sick the day before, she gives us what we adore the most in her, her smile.

sick baby

Today was not the most fun. It is the not so fun part of being a mom, or dad, for that matter. Cassandra was vomiting all day, and we don't know why. A lot of things are going around now, it is the flu season, and she got a nasty bug. We took 2 baths today, saw the doctor, and made daddy come home from work early. It was a very long day, but I am about to turn in. One thing I learned, probably obvious, I don't know, but do not give a sick baby milk. You live and learn.

We went to see some animals

Are they white with black stripes or black with white stripes?

She was all ready to see the animals. It was fun taking Cassandra for the first time to the Zoo. We went with some friends and had a good time. It was still a little cold but...

We saw the elephants start to play, but didn't get a picture of it. You will just have to imagine.

Well, these are not all the animals, but you have all been to the zoo. Yes, Jeff, we did see bears and mountain lions.
