Look at this.

Cassandra has been getting more comfortable this week with walking. It is like she now knows that she can do it. It is fun to see her change. And yes, that is not her book, but mommy's book.

Water again,

We went back to enjoy the water at America the Beautiful Park again. This is a bike ride we enjoy and Cassandra enjoys the water. We went to the park after the parade today and had a picnic too.

The water is very cold.

Parade!!!!!!!!

We went to Cassandra's first parade today. The parade was to welcome home the troups and it was very cool. It was loud though at times, so we put our blanket back a ways from the action.

A lady was there to hand out flags, so we got one for Cassandra. She loved waving it.

It was emotional to see all the branches of the military pass by us. We were all cheering and thanking the troups for what they did.

There were several bands that were marching too. They were playing patriotic music.

This one was not to close, but it was fun to see the hourses with soldiers on them. Cassandra liked them. She was pointing at them, which you can't see in this picture.
Well, we support the troups and it was neat seeing how many others do too. It has received a bad wrap from a lot of people, so it was good seeing how many others give their support and hearing them cheer and thank all the soldiers. I think it is important to remember where we have gotten our freedom and how we still have it. God Bless all the troups that have brought and protected our Freedom and Country.

A surprise for mom

We took family pictures at a park in Colorado Springs. We kept it a secret from my mom, because we wanted to surprise her. She loved the surprise and now you can see the pictures. It was a fun time having them. It was a couple days before we shaved her hair, so that was also a surprise for my mom. Someday soon, she will have long hair again. I hope that you like the pictures.

South Meadows Campground

Well, we went camping with some friends from church. There was 7 kids and 4 adults. We had a blast. There was camping, fishing, swimming in a river/stream, going to a playground, campfires, talking, hiking, etc. Lots of time for bonding. We had a beautiful weekend and it only threatened to rain once. The weekend went by so fast, but we packed as much as we could into it. Afterwards, we had a pool party at our place, followed by some much needed naps.

Cassandra liked all the attention, the other family has 6 boys.

This was our campsite. It was beautiful.

Cassandra, Jack, and me. Jack is 2 years old and Cassandra likes him a lot.

As you can tell by the smile. Isn't that precious. I think this was her first "kiss."

Hanging out with the boys.

Their two tents. They were given one on their last camping trip by some people who camped nearbye them. They need space for them and their 6 boys.

Here is Jack. He has gorgeous curls in back. 2 years old and full of life.

This is Kilian, their newest boy, he is 3 months now. He has this camping thing down.

Sam and the only fish that the boys caught. He was very proud.

Mom and brothers hanging out.

They had so much fun together.

Just checking things out.

Anther kiss. They were all so gentle with Cassandra.

There are a few pictures are of Jack feeding Cassandra. It was so cute to watch. He wanted to make sure that Cassandra was fed.

Oldest with baby brother and some others.

We brought Cassandra's walker and both her and Jack enjoyed playing with it. She was on her feet most of the weekend.

On Saturday, we went to a park in Woodland Park, that my parents recommended. All the kids loved it. It was lots of fun. It looked like a castle.
Here is daddy playing with Cassandra.

These tires are fun to walk on. Just hold me up daddy.

Okay, these are of Jack feeding Cassandra. He really seemed to want to feed her. We were egging him on after the first time. He was feeding her Stars.

Okay, I am ready for another one.

Num, num. Thanks.

Here, I'll put it in your mouth for you.

Just right.
I hope that you enjoyed the pictures!
